Due to the environment she was raised in, Maki is a little more outgoing than most Japanese people. She's friendly and enjoys talking to and getting to know others. Despite that though, Maki is slow to let others way too in to her personal life and only does so once she has gotten really close to a person. Once she has gotten close to someone though and considers them a true friend, she becomes more affectionate towards them and would definitely be loyal as well. She's very protective of those she loves, whether it be from themselves [in the event that a friend might do something self-destructive or stupid] or from others, willing to go to the moon and back for them.

Being a right brainer, Maki is a very creative and imaginative person and tends to spend her time doing artsy things such as writing or drawing. That being said though, she has the tendency to be absent-minded once she lets her imaginations get the best of her, stuck in her day dreams and her own little world for a good few moments or until someone snaps her back to reality. She's curious and enjoys learning knew things, this becoming an extreme at times as she becomes quite restless until her curiosities are satisfied. [This becomes very troublesome once she gets curious about a person.]

Maki, despite being more into the arts, also longs for and enjoys intellectual discussion as she is also quite intelligent. She likes to listen to the opinions of others, comparing the differences or noting the similarities between hers and the other person's, open-minded and willing to look for a common understanding.

[B I O G R A P H Y]

Maki is the youngest in her family, having an older brother of 2 years before her. She was born in the United States to a Japanese father and an American mother and had lived there for most of her life. She grew up quite normally, her parents supportive of her and her endeavours as she constantly asked to try new things.

During her senior year in high school, she had gone on an exchange student program and was sent to study in Japan for a good few months, enjoying and liking her stay and deciding soon after that she would take up her university in Japan. Her mother seemed a little wary of letting her live on her own at, what she considered, a young age but was soon comforted when Maki agreed to contact them frequently and to let her parents send her money on a monthly basis, promising to work hard to prove she deserved this trust.
